App Image Cards
Image card are utilized in the ESPN App as an anchor to drawing the readers to a key piece of content or news. It was up to me to either find a photo or work with our photo team to get one cut so that I could put it into the app feed. These were a big company priority but very rarely was I given direction on what or when to make an image card. I took the reigns and added one in when I felt it would enhance the user experience.
